Dwayne Polee will take an official visit to Oregon beginning Saturday and says he will probably make a college announcement after the trip.
“Yeah, probably after this visit,” he wrote Thursday by text.
An athletic 6-foot-7 wing who averaged 21 points and 8 rebounds last season at Los Angeles Westchester High, Polee is down to St. John’s, Georgia and Oregon.
He had initially planned to announce this past Saturday at halftime of the Collision all-star game but held off and opted to visit Oregon after Dana Altman was named head coach.
As a freshman, Polee committed to USC, where his father, Dwayne Polee Sr., is the director of basketball operations. He decommitted last December in the wake of Tim Floyd’s resignation.
