NEW YORK — Burlington (N.J.) Life Center point guard Traci Carter says he remains wide open in his recruitment.

The 6-foot-1 Carter listed Temple, La Salle, Louisville, Indiana, Creighton, Boston College, DePaul and Seton Hall among schools he is considering. Louisville and Indiana haven’t offered, but he said “they’re in contact every week.”

“Wide open, wide open,” he said after going for 17 points and 8 assists as Life Center beat MacDuffie (MA), 68-61, at the Big Apple Basketball Invitational at Baruch College.

Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard and his whole staff were on hand for the game. Asked what that meant, Carter said, “That I’m a good player, that they’re very interested.”

Carter said he had no timetable on a decision, but plans to visit Louisville, Indiana and Creighton.

“Whatever I feel is the right college,” he said.

Life Center coach, Pervis Ellison said Carter could play “on any level.”

“He has the ability to score the basketball, he can run your ballclub,” Ellison said. “That’s the aspect of the game we’re working on with him, to get all his teammates involved.

“He’s a tremendous talent, so he’s got a very bright future in front of him.”
