Arizona coach Sean Miller continued to build a strong 2015 recruiting class with the addition Sunday of Findlay Prep shooting guard Allonzo Trier.

The 6-foot-4 Trier, who dropped 42 points on the Playaz Basketball Club in one game at Peach Jam, joins point guard Justin Simon and wing Ray Smith in Arizona’s 2015 class.

“My relationship with Coach Miller and the way they recruited me was the difference,” Trier told ESPN.com while on a weekend visit to Tucson. “It’s a family program, a players program. I just fell in love with everything.”

Trier told ESPN he also considered Washington, UCLA, Kansas and Louisville.

Arizona remains in the mix for big men Ivan Rabb, Stephen Zimmerman and Chase Jeter.

“He wants to win an NCAA championship,” Trier’s mentor, Steve Goldstein told SNY.tv. “Sean Miller is a great coach and Trier has the ability to step into a great program and make an impact right away.”

With two guards now in the fold for 2015 in Simon and Trier, it will be interesting to see how Briscoe’s recruitment plays out.The Roselle (N.J.) Catholic guard is sidelined 4-6 weeks with a fractured foot and is considering Arizona, St. John’s, Louisville, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Villanova.
