Antonio Blakeney has upcoming visits set for Kentucky and LSU and may wait until the spring to announce, he told Evan Daniels Scout.com.

The 6-foot-4 Louisville decommit out of Sarasota (FL) Oak Ridge will visit Kentucky the weekend of Nov. 1 and LSU the following weekend. He’s also considering Missouri, North Carolina and N.C. State.

“What sticks out the most [about Kentucky] is how coach Cal is for his players and he really wants his players to do well and make it to the next level,” Blakeney told Scout.

“Most every player wants to make it the next level and when you have a coach pushing you to do that it really benefits you.”

    LSU is up after that.

“I haven’t gotten to visit there yet,” Blakeney said. “Right now I just really like the conversations I’m having with coach Johnny Jones and coach [David Patrick] and just the situation to be able to come in and play early.”

Blakeney is coming off a recent visit to Mizzou alongside Isaiah Briscoe and Thomas Bryant.

“What stood out the most was just how down to earth the coaches were,” he said. “Coach [Tim] Fuller, coach [Kim] Anderson and the new coach are real down to earth and I like how hard they worked their players. We watched a practice and I really liked how they worked their players. They held them accountable for everything they did.”

Blakeney also praised North Carolina and N.C. State and said he could decide late.

“I’m not sure,” Blakeney said. “Right now I’m probably thinking about making a late decision, but I’m not sure yet.”
