GREENBURGH, N.Y. — The Knicks had a special guest at practice Wednesday in the form of former Seton Hall coach Bobby Gonzalez.

Gonzo sat next to assistant GM Allan Houston for much of the workout and then hugged Carmelo Anthony afterward.

“It was funny, it was good,” Anthony said, “because he coached one of my best friends over there [at Manhattan], Kenny Minor, so it was good.”

Minor and Anthony are both from Baltimore.

Gonzalez has attended Knicks practices on a periodic basis since getting fired from Seton Hall in 2010.

He is looking to get back into basketball, either at the college or NBA level.
