Freshman Jabari Brown has left the Oregon basketball team, according to a report on OregonLive.com.

“I will say it up front, I don’t want him to leave,” Ducks coach Dana Altman said after his team’s 86-61 win Sunday over Southeast Missouri State. “The door is still open.”

His name is no longer on the Oregon roster.

Brown’s parents were not immediately available by phone.

Brown averaged 6 points and 2 rebounds while making a team-high 11 turnovers.

The 6-5 Brown initially chose the Ducks over Washington, UConn, Arizona State and Georgia Tech.
