Jaylen Brown has not cut his list, he told SNY.tv by text on Wednesday.
“No,” he said when asked if he was down to Cal and Michigan.
ESPN’s Paul Biancardi said in a video rundown, “It could be Cal or it could be Michigan for his final destination.”
Brown recently visited Michigan and Cal but has played coy on his recruitment.
The 6-7 wing from Marietta (GA) Wheeler lists Michigan, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Cal, UCLA, Georgia and Georgia Tech.
“That’s what I’m trying to figure out now, what’s the best fit for me,” he told ESPN at the McDonald’s All-American Game. “I can play with a lot of good guys but I’m trying to figure out what I got going on.”
He did not address the media at the Jordan Brand Classic last Friday in Brooklyn and did not play in the game.
