JUCO Standouts Morris, Graham, Bowers Planning Visits

Carlos Morris, Torian Graham and Cinmeon Bowers, three big-time junior college prospects who currently attend Chipola (FL) College, are planning several visits.

The 6-foot-5 Morris (pictured) is a onetime South Carolina commit who is being courted by Seton Hall, Oregon State and Minnesota.

“They haven’t set up the dates officially,” Chipola coach Patrick Blake told SNY.tv.

Morris averaged 13.3 points and 4.0 rebounds last season at Chipola, while shooting 44 percent from the field and 36 percent from the arc.

“He’s 6-5, pushing 6-6, very long, active, can really shoot it,” Blake said. “Makes plays off the bounce, gets other people shots. Very skilled.”

Graham is a 6-4 shooting guard who has committed and decommited on several occasions from N.C. State.

“Torian is definitely visiting Ole Miss Sept. 6-8 and Arizona State Sept. 27,” Blake said. “Those are the two that are locked in.”

Blake said Miami and “possibly Memphis” were also involved.

“He’s a 6-4 two guard, very athletic, big-time scorer,” Blake said of Graham, who averaged 7.2 points last season at Chipola.

The 6-7, 260-pound Bowers is one of the top-rated JUCO players in America and is being courted by Memphis, Florida, Louisville and Missouri, Blake said.

“All of our sophomores will graduate on time,” he added.
