  • Kamari Murphy to Miami

    Transferring Oklahoma State forward Kamari Murphy is headed to Miami after visiting the campus this week.

    “I Will be taking my talents to the University of Miami. … New Beginnings !” he Tweeted.

    A 6-foot-8 sophomore originally from Brooklyn, Murphy averaged 6.1 points and 6.3 rebounds last season at Oklahoma State. He also visited South Florida.

    His family lives in Atlanta and he will be relatively close to them.

    Murphy must sit out a year per NCAA regulations unless he obtains a waiver.
