Kentucky head coach John Calipari is on hand Friday to see 2015 Cleveland (OH) Villa Angela-St.Joseph five-star forward Carlton Bragg at the Cancer Research Classic in Wheeling, W.V.

Kansas head coach Bill Self and assistant Norm Roberts and Illinois assistant Dustin Ford are also expected.

SNY.tv confirmed what was first reported by the Lexington-Herald.

Bragg, and his Villa Angela teammates, will face Arlington Country Day (Fla), which features 2015 top 100 forward Tulio Da Silva and 2016 Top 100 guards Mario Kegler and Lamonte Turner.

But there are more prime targets for Illinois and Kansas to check on while in West Virginia. Illinois commit Jalen Coleman-Lands and his LaLumiere (IN) team will face Archbishop John Carroll (PA) prior to Bragg taking the court.

After Bragg finishes, Illinois and Kansas could stick around and check in on 2016 top target Jayson Tatum and his Chaminade College Preparatory (MO) Eagles as they face Adlai Stevenson (IL) and five-star Villanova point guard signee Jalen Brunson.

When it comes to Bragg, he’s cut his list to four final schools, eliminating Arizona from his initial list, leaving only Kansas, Kentucky, Illinois and UCLA.

Kansas received Bragg’s only official visit in October for ‘Late Night at the Phog,’ followed by an unofficial visit to Kentucky the next weekend for ‘Big Blue Madness.’  An event Bragg called “amazing.”

“That was an amazing trip,” he said. “That was amazing. I loved my visit there. Of course, Drake was there and that made it even more exciting. Being able to see the guys, how they act and the lifestyle around them. The campus was beautiful. I liked the Coal Lodge.”

Bragg stated he plans on taking official visits to the remaining three schools, but as of this writing, our source reported those dates have yet to be set.
