bambaKentucky and Missouri are the latest schools to offer 6-foot-11 2017 Mohamed Bamba, a Harlem native who plays for the PSA Cardinals and Westtown (Pa.), PSA Cardinals director Terrance “Munch” Williams confirmed to SNY.tv.

Duke has also expressed interest, but hasn’t offered.

Bamba, who has a 7-foot-8 wingspan and a 9-foot-5 standing reach according to Evan Daniels of Scout, also holds offers from St. John’s, Indiana, Kansas, Syracuse, Arizona, UConn, Texas, Villanova, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Penn State, Temple, Seton Hall, James Madison and Yale.

“Mohamed and two of his teammates were blessed enough to attend the Nike Elite 100 Skills Camp this past weekend in St. Louis,” Williams told SNY.tv. “I believe he performed well enough to generate word of mouth that he’s one of the best players In his class. These new schools have reached out and requested to get involved with his recruiting process.

“Needless to say, at this rate of his development, it wouldn’t be a surprise to the PSA family if he finishes the number one player in the country two years from now.”

Williams previously explained the plan for Bamba’s recruitment.

“Mohammed has a a structured plan in his recruitment,” he said. “He has a certain amount of offers which he will receive and that number is quickly approaching. He will stop taking offers from schools directly after his team plays in the Mokan Elite event in late July. He will use all of his junior year to get to know all the coaches/schools who have offered him in hopes of deciding which college or university he would like to attend early into his senior year.
