Lawrence to Visit Fordham & Manhattan, Then Decide

Transferring Cincinnati forward Jermaine Lawrence will visit Fordham and Manhattan on Wednesday and then decide soon thereafter, sources confirmed to SNY.tv.

The news was first reported by Zach Braziller of the New York Post.

Fordham had not initially made Lawrence’s final list of three, but made a late bid and will get a visit.

Lawrence visited Iona and Hofstra last week.

He is expected to decide sometime after Wednesday visits between the four local schools.

The 6-foot-9 Lawrence began his high school career at Queens-based PSAL power Cardozo before leaving in the middle of junior year for Pope John XXIII. An injury-shortened senior season saw him average 13.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in just 11 games.

Dan Giradi has absolutely stinking up the ice after a great last season. He is out of position on many goals, just stares at forwards parked in front and is costing them games.

The Rangers need to cutback McDonaghs minutes because they will burn him out. I understand right now that they don't have an option as their d-men are not playing well aside from McDonagh. However; this needs to be addressed ASAP or the Rangers will suffer the consequences.
