The July live period may be over, but grassroots hoops will be alive and well in New York City in the month of August.

Across the next few weeks, the Big Apple will host the Big Strick Classic this Saturday, Aug. 9, the Reebok Classic X Aug. 11 at Rucker Park and the Elite 24 Aug. 23 in Brooklyn.

We covered the Big Strick here, which will feature some of the top players in the Classes of 2015 — Carlton Bragg, Jaylen Brown and Stephen Zimmerman — and 2016 — Rawle Alkins, Miles Bridges and T.J. Gibbs.

The Reebok Classic X takes place Monday at Rucker Park and will feature Donovan Mitchell, Elijah Thomas, Admon Gilder, Derrick Jones, Abdul Ado, Skal Labissiere, Corey Sanders and Dwayne Bacon.

Jones, Sanders and Bacon will play in both games.

The Elite 24 rosters were announced Wednesday. Here they are.
