Former Louisville forward Angel Nunez will visit Gonzaga Dec. 27-29, his mentor, Eric Martinez, told SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-8 Nunez is considering several schools for transfer, but Gonzaga will be his first visit. He would be eligible in the second semester of the 2013-14 season after sitting out a year per NCAA regulations.

A native of Washington Heights in New York, Nunez has not played for Louisville this season. He reportedly suffered a stomach virus before the season began and then endured a concussion during practice Nov. 13.

He averaged 2.0 points in 4.6 minutes at Louisville during the 2011-12 season.
