On the eve of his college announcement, Roselle (N.J.) Catholic forward Chris Silva told SNY.tv by text he’s still considering the “same 3” schools.

That would be Rhode Island, Seton Hall and South Carolina.

Sources said the 6-foot-9 Silva was torn on his decision, with an announcement set for about 3:15 p.m. Friday at the school.

Rhody coaches Dan Hurley and Jimmy Carr were at RC on Wednesday, and Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard and associate head coach Shaheen Holloway were in Tuesday.

Silva has taken officials to all three schools.

Meantime, Silva’s high school teammate, point guard Isaiah Briscoe, is set for an in-home visit Thursday night with Kentucky coach John Calipari.
