Former Oregon pledge Ray Kasongo will now choose between Indiana and LSU, a source close to the situation told SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-9, 230-pound power forward may visit LSU Wednesday or Thursday and Indiana on Monday, the source said.

“He won’t commit until he visits both,” the source said.

The Hoosiers are currently playing five games in six days in Canada and Kasongo wouldn’t visit until they return. They have a need for bigs in the frontcourt for the upcoming season.

Kasongo visited Kansas last week but they are no longer in the picture. Neither are Memphis or California, two other schools he was considering,

Kasongo is back in Toronto working out and hopes to be on a college campus soon

“It’s unfortunate,” he told SNY.tv last week. “I was really looking forward to going to Oregon but the administration denied my application there. I’m not really too sure [why]. It’s unfortunate.”

    SAMPSON HAS A TOP SIX

Brandon Sampson, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound shooting guard from Baton Rouge (LA) Madison, has a top six of Cal, LSU, Oklahoma State, St. John’s, UCLA and Texas A&M, his high school coach, Jeff Jones, confirmed to SNY.tv.

USC is no longer in the mix.

SNY.tv reported in April that Sampson planned to visit St. John’s.

    LEAF LISTS TOP 10

T.J. Leaf, a 6-10 power forward from Foothills Christian (CA), Tweeted out a Top 10 of Arizona, Duke, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, San Diego State, Texas, UCLA and Xavier.

    FALL TRIMS TO 8

Tacko Fall, the 7-6 giant from Tavares (FL) Liberty Christian and E1T1, cut his list to eight schools: Wake Forest, Georgetown, Florida State, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Georgia Tech, Florida and Stanford.
