RICHARD-WASHINGTON-150205-PRORichard Washington, a 6-foot-5 two guard from Team Loaded and Newport News (VA) Walsingham Academy, committed to Wake Forest on Saturday.

“Richard is a smooth and crafty shooting guard who can score the ball at all three levels,” Team Loaded coach Mike Blackwell said. “Wake Forest has a good business school, is close to home and is in a great basketball conference.”

Washington also reportedly considered William & Mary and East Carolina.

He joins point guard Brandon Childress in Wake’s 2016 class.
