NCAA Basketball: Seton Hall at St. John'sSt. John’s coach Chris Mullin continues to work toward transforming his roster for 2015-16 and beyond.

Mullin and his staff on Tuesday will host both uncommitted Burlington (N.J.) Life Center shooting guard Malik Ellison and transferring Pittsburgh small forward Durand Johnson, sources confirmed to SNY.tv.

Ellison is also considering Rutgers, California, Minnesota, South Carolina, Temple and Wake Forest, but with Minnesota recently landing Philadelphia (PA) Constitution guard Ahmad Gilbert, St. John’s could now be in good position to land the 6-6 Ellison, the son of former No. 1 draft pick Pervis Ellison.

The 6-6 Johnson averaged 8.8 points and 1.4 rebounds last season at Pitt. He is graduating from Pitt on Sunday (today) and will then visit West Virginia Monday before visiting St. John’s, sources confirmed.

St. John’s still remains involved with Italian guard Federico Mussini, who recently told SNY.tv that St. John’s and Gonzaga were recruiting him the hardest, and Chicago point guard Marcus LoVett, who has yet to take any official visits.

In the frontcourt, St. John’s awaits the decision of Cheick Diallo, the MVP of the McDonald’s All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic who could announce his decision this coming week. Mullin met with Diallo a second time last week. He is also considering Kentucky, Kansas, Pitt and Iowa State.

St. John’s is also involved for Greek 7-footer Georgios Papagiannis, who could decide by June.
