    usa-today-8383638.0Syracuse has landed 7-foot-2 Providence transfer Paschal Chukwu, his high school coach confirmed to SNY.tv.

    Chukwu will sit out the 2015-16 season and have three years to play

    He visited Iona, Kansas, Nebraska, Virginia and Michigan State before visiting Syracuse this weekend and making his decision.

    According to NunesMagician.com, the Orange are now over their scholarship limit of 10 and will begin their NCAA-mandated reductions in 2016-17.

    Chukwu averaged 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds as a freshman with the Friars.
