Syracuse signee Chris McCullough has resurfaced at Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy and is expected to suit up tomorrow night.
“I’m just here to get better and prepare for college and take in all the sources here so I can improve my game,” McCullough told SNY.tv.
“He brings size and athleticism to our team,” post-graduate coach John Mahoney told SNY.tv. “It’s hard for somebody to come in this late. We have great chemistry right now but he brings a skill level that we don’t have.”
The 6-foot-10 McCullough was dismissed from Brewster (N.H.) Academy last month for a violation of team rules.
Ironically, McCullough will return to play at Brewster this weekend when IMG faces Notre Dame Prep on Friday night. The championship game is Saturday, meaning McCullough could face his old school then.
McCullough and IMG will be in New York Jan. 16-20 for the IMG New York Classic.
McCullough signed with Syracuse during the early signing period.
