Tom Crean Says Jordan Hulls is an NBA Guard

By SEVE COUSINS

BROOKLYN -- Jordan Hulls is generously listed at 6-feet, but if you ask Indiana coach Tom Crean, Hulls can play in the NBA.

After Hulls put up 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in No. 1 Indiana’s 66-53 victory over Georgia here in the Legends Classic before nearly 50 NBA scouts, Crean was singing Hulls’ praises.

“With the number of NBA people here, Jordan Hulls is an NBA guard,” Crean said.

He compared Hulls to a former guard of his at Marquette, Travis Diener, and even made comparisons to Steve Nash at Santa Clara.

“His facial expressions, his body language, they don’t change and I look forward to him having a big year,” Crean said of Hulls, who made 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.

After Indiana trailed 30-29 at the break, Hulls took over in the second half on a night when Cody Zeller managed just six points and four rebounds.

Hulls accounted for 15 consecutive Indiana points with either baskets of his own or by  finding slashers Victor Oladipo and Christian Watford for easy buckets.

“He is a very good player, he never sped up, he understands the game,” Georgia coach Mark Fox said. “Hulls has an old man’s game, he can pivot away from pressure. He’s a great piece with Zeller.”

"My thing is all about the money" corrected. He's not the same player.. I hope he pulls a hammy on the first day.

So "Show me the money" and the"Jerk" are together. Fitting...they are perfect together. Can we cut back on all the Revis coverage or just set up a Revis blog so we can isolate this crap and move on to the Jets?

Translation:" It's all about the money. I'd play for Tampa Bay, or even NFl Europe if they paid me a few bucks more"

All about winning...and making sure my contract has an average value of $16 million a year.

(miketaliaferro) OK. You got me here... Last year, NO ONE was a stronger Revis supporter than I. No one said Pay the Man what he's worth, louder than I. It broke me up to see him go. I was even upset the other day when he signed up north with the Red Sox or Bruins or one of those teams... but I came to terms with it & got over it & moved on.

But, on this quote... I call BS! That's just nonsense. Winning drives Derrrelle, but MONEY is why he gets out of bed in the morning.

That's the worst SMH all day...

Revis is due to start holding to keep from getting beat, it will be fun to see if he can be as good as he used to be. the Traitor and Cheater have united.

Brendan do you have season tickets? I'm guessing you don't. Some of us literally have a little more invested in this team than others. If they expect me to spend my money they better spend their's!!!

Pretty disappointed about Cro but Cro the second would be better if he can get back to where he was. As for Revis comments they are hilarious. That's why he went to TB last year to win.

IdZik sucks he hasn't done anything. Everybody's up his derriere because he drafted Richardson. He got lucky!!! Rex probably wanted him anyway so let's give Rex credit for that. Plus, let's not be naive Idzik was trying to trade the pick until the very end but there were no suitors. The guy is looking like a real rookie. Can't pull the trigger when he has too. We needed to get at least an elite safety or corner this offseason and he got outbid and outclassed by every other GM.

I told you we are gonna roll with Walls, Lankster and hopefully Berry will be back. They must have faith in these guys or they would of tried harder to sign a CB. Im sure they have been in contact with Cro too.

@a57se  no. I've talked to about 3 or 4 that has made an excuse for every single player that has passed on the Jets and state that they are in a rebuilding mode

@jake100 hes too inexperienced.. when hiring people with talent.you have to treat the numbers with flexibility. Thats why players make millions or dollars,People with finance degrees dont see that . its always black and white. When you negotiate with talent its never black and white.

Good gms understand that...even the most staunch..

ozzie newsome is an amazing GM..he gave Flacco a bunch of money..probably more than hes worth ...but he realized without flacco he doesnt make the playoffs so you bit the bullet...and hes a two time superbowl champ..idzik is an accountant.

@Tequila Joe  So not wanting to be cap stricken means that you are the worst GM in the league? He also drafted Milliner, and T-Bo could turn into a solid blocking FB.  What would people do if we sign all of these high profile guys now, but can't sign the SONS down the road? The Jets have their defensive core in place, and nedd to have money on hand to re-sign them. Cam down, bro.

@Tequila Joe amen he got abused...everyone got better we got worse. dont give me that rebuilding crap the giants had a worse record.

Monty Granito

@a57se @Monty Granitoof course it is.. its a huge overpayment.. but sometimes you have to overpay to say in the game..they jets just lost the game for this year..they will not compete for a playoff spot. they gave up. It doesnt matter how they draft

Monty Granito
Monty Granito

@a57se @Monty Granito yeah but theyll make it this year. whats your point they have 2 super bowls.. nothing is perfect but the best GM in the game decided to overpay someone he needed
