4_3726094Udoka Azubuike, a 6-foot-10 center from Jacksonville (FL) Potter’s House Christian, will take an official visit to Kansas with his parents this weekend, his brother told SNY.tv.

Azubuike is the No. 3 center in the Class of 2016, according to 247Sports.com.

“The only visit we have planned right now is this weekend to Kansas,” Harry Coxsome told SNY.tv.

“The offense that they run, they do run it through their big men. And we’re just overall intrigued by [head coach] Bill Self and [assistant] Norm Roberts. We’ve had numerous conversations with Coach Self and Coach Roberts, so we feel like that is a definite great staff, not to say we’re going to commit or anything, just to say that we definitely think highly of Kansas.”

Kentucky is also in constant touch.

“Coach [John] Calipari has called numerous times,” Coxsome said. “The assistant coach Kenny Payne has called numerous times as well. “They’re definitely a great program. We know that if he were to decide to go to Kentucky, he would be pushed to the limit. But our biggest thing right now is his development and if he does choose Kentucky we know they produce and what they’re capable of and Udoka would have to go in there with the mindset to be able to work hard and work fast.”

Azubuike is also hearing from Duke, North Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Cal, Auburn, Florida and Florida State

“We don’t have a list,” Coxsome said. “He’s wide open in his recruitment right now.”
