WHEELING, W.V. —  Stephen Zimmerman plans on cutting his list sometime in the near future.

“I’m going to have to get a list soon,” the 7-foot 2015 big man from Las Vegas Bishop Gorman said in response to cutting his list down to five.  “I don’t know when, but probably soon. There are probably about 10 schools in the mix. I probably can’t name them all off the top of my head, so I don’t want to make it look like I have any favorites right now.”

Kentucky’s John Calipari and assistant Orlando Antigua and North Carolina’s entire staff came out to see Zimmerman on Friday night in his match up with Cleveland Villa-Angela St. Joseph’s Carlton Bragg. We asked Zimmerman where he stands with those two heavyweights.

“Those are two schools that really talk to me a lot,” Zimmerman noted. “There’s probably five or six more that keep in contact with me and probably text me two or three times a week.”
