Kobie Eubanks, the top uncommitted 2014 shooting guard out of Our Savior New American, verbally committed to Baylor on Tuesday, he confirmed to SNY.tv.
He Tweeted: “I AM A BAYLOR BEAR NOW #SICK‘EM #LETS GO #BIG12”
The 6-foot-5 Eubanks recently visited Baylor. He also considered Pitt, Minnesota, Missouri and Wichita State.
“Kobie Eubanks is as good of 3-point shooter,” longtime New York recruiting expert Tom Konchalski said. “He has a picture-perfect stroke and shooting remains basketball’s EZ Pass. He can really shoot the ball
“His level of athleticism has really spiked. He’s attacking the basket. He’s gotta get a little bit better with the ball but he’s certainly a high-major player. The fact that he’s both a perimeter scoring threat and he can get to the basket now makes him doubly effective.”
Eubanks is Baylor’s fourth pledge in 2014, joining 6-8 Texas power forward Terry Maston, 6-4 Texas shooting guard Damiyne Durham and 5-11 JUCO point guard Lester Mudford.
