Chris Paul: 'My heart is in New Orleans'

NEW YORK — Two years ago, LeBron James teased Knicks fans for an entire season before “The Decision” ultimately brought him to South Beach.

Last year the Carmelo Anthony Sweepstakes dominated the New York headlines until he ultimately landed with the Knicks at the trade deadline.

Now it’s Chris Paul’s turn.

The New Orleans Hornets point guard becomes a free agent next summer, and until then he will continue to answer questions about whether he wants to join Melo and Amar’e Stoudemire in the Big Apple.

Good pick I would've rather had Gabe Jackson but we needed a center

I'd love a Jace Amaro pick in round 2 right about now...

"glut in the middle of the Giants’ line, especially at guard, could keep the Giants away."

Having a whole lot of nothing (other than Schwartz) is not a glut in a good way.
Profootball focus ratings of the guys the Giants played last year that are still around:

Brandon Mosley .03 (only 59 snaps so basically a worthless stat)

Dallas Reynolds -4.7 (98 snaps - still yikes)

Chris Snee -6.4 on 188 snaps - does he have anything left?

James Brewer -9.3 on 406 snaps (yikes)

The Giants should draft an interior lineman in rounds 2 or 3.

I think that Reese will draft a guard in round 2.  There is a lot of value at that position now.  If someone who can pay right tackle in a pinch is there (like Kouandjio if he clears the health bar), all the better.

My only significant comment on talent left on the board is Lee.  If he's there, can you pass on him?  He has durability concerns and the Giants have 3 solid wideouts plus JJ and MM but his very explosive when healthy.  Wideouts always seem to get hurt and having another weapon can't hurt.

I really like Andre Williams, I think getting him late would be a steal. I also like the tight end from TexasTech but my concern is the O-line and I think Reese would be wise to address that sooner than later and add a big TE later on.

I'd like to see the GIants get Niklas and Marcus Martin.  I don't feel good about relying on JD Walton who hasn't played since 2012 as our #1 option at center.  I'd love to have him pan out but it's too big of a risk.  I'm hoping the Giants get the top available center.

My personal favorites for the second round would be Morgan Moses, Nikolas, or Keith gill.

A player I really hope the giants look at in use 4th or 5 th is L'damian Washington WR. He is 6"4 and ran a 4.3 I know we took a wideout already but this guy is big and very fast and could really develop into something. Even with beck ham we could still use the depth.

Plus his story is incredible this is a guy who is going to play with a chip and with heart. Watch is pro day video on grant land. This guy has made it through hell.

As much as I like Amaro, if he can't block there is no way he is a Giant. But the system will dictate that idea. Tuitt would be a grea pick and I thought that would be a steal early in the offseason. I don't see an OLineman. SJB would be a good oil in round 3. Interested to see how the Giants attack this round more so than the 1st.

Bitonio is very solid....and is now off the board to the Browns.

My wish came true. Andre Williams is going to be one the better value picks of the whole draft.

Just need to grab a TE and I like this draft
