MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Took my kids sledding today on the hill at Hen Hud High School.
My soon-to-be-6-year-old daughter Grace decided to do some ‘extreme’ sledding by hanging off the back of the sled and absorbing the bumps and jumps with her body.
Meantime, my 2-and-a-half-year-old James hung in pretty good despite the sniffles.
“I wanna go again, Daddy,” he said a bunch of times.
I know most folks who come to this blog are looking for hoops and rock ‘n’ roll news.
But I couldn’t help but put up this picture I took Tuesday of my 2-year-old son, James, thoroughly enjoying a vanilla ice cream cone in Union Square.
James loves him some ice cream, and often has a lime popsicle to start his day…followed by an ice cream later in the day.
He’s already got a natural Frisbee flick (forehand) and we hope he’ll be out on the Ultimate field before his old man has to hang up the cleats and retire completely.
While I was in the press room at the Final Four in Detroit back in April my wife Jen called to say she and my daughter Gracie had gone out and bought tickets to see Jackson Browne at the Prospect Park Bandshell in July.
They knew I was a big Jackson Browne fan and my 4-year-old daughter was fired up.
So come the night of the Big Event and Gracie passes out in her stroller on the way to the show, but our 15-month-old, James Jefferson Airplane Zagoria, was the star of the show. To read more of this story, click here
