Memphis Briarcrest Christian forward Austin Nichols is working on setting up his official visits and could potentially sign late if he can’t settle on a school early, his father told SNY.tv. Friday.

“We would like to commit early but I don’t know if that will happen,” Mark Nichols said. “It could be late. If one of these official visits doesn’t slap us in the face, we may be late with it.”

The 6-8, 215-pound Nichols has a tentative official set for Virginia Sept. 8, his father said.

“But the thing is we haven’t talked to Virginia because they’re out of the country,” he added.

Head coach Tony Bennett and his team are in the midst of a two-week European trip.

Mark Nichols said his son would also take an official to Duke Oct. 6 for the Virginia football game.

“We’re going to Duke Oct. 6,” he said. “We have that penciled in. We’ve got all that reaffirmed. That should be pretty good.”

Duke is said to be focusing on Nichols, Julius Randle, Semi Ojeleye and Robert Hubbs in the Class of 2013.

Nichols is also considering Auburn, Memphis, Tennessee and Vanderbilt and recently took an unofficial to Memphis. He will not need to take an official there.

No other visits are yet set.

“We don’t know yet,” Mark said. “We’re taking it one day at a time.”

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Sylven Landesberg left Virginia after his sophomore season with hopes of getting drafted into the NBA.

Instead, the Queens native went undrafted and ended up playing in Israel, far from home and the bright lights of the NBA.

Still, the 6-foot-6 former Queens Holy Cross star says he doesn’t regret leaving school early.

“When I came out I thought I was ready to compete,” Landesberg told SNY.tv following a workout Monday at the Nets free agent mini-camp. “Just watching myself now two years later, I’ve grown a lot as a player. Looking back, I’ve grown a lot. I feel like I got a lot better since those past two years.”

A McDonald’s All-American and Mr. New York Basketball, Landesberg was the subject of a heated recruiting battle coming out of Paul Gilvary’s Holy Cross program. In the fall of 2007, he chose Virginia over St. John’s and Georgia Tech, dealing another recruiting blow to then-Johnnies coach Norm Roberts, who two years later would miss out on local stars Lance Stephenson (Cincinnati) and Tobias Harris (Tennessee).

In his first year at Virginia under Dave Leitao, Landesberg was named ACC Rookie of the Year after averaging 16.6 points and 6.0 rebounds.

After Leitao resigned in March 2009, Landesberg opted to stay and play for new coach Tony Bennett.

He was named second-team All-ACC after leading the Cavaliers at 17.3 points per game as a sophomore, but opted to leave after one year under Bennett.

Landesberg declined to comment on his relationship with Bennett.

After going undrafted, he landed in Israel and has spent the last two seasons with Maccabi Haifa, where he averaged 20.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists last season.

“I feel like a lot of concerns coming out were my outside shooting,” he said. “I feel like my jump shot is a lot better now. I can consistently just hit open jump shots. And a big part of my game I take a lot of pride in now is my defense. So that was a big knock, too. So just coming out here and making sure I can create plays for other players and knock shots down.”

Landesberg, whose father’s family is Jewish, said his mother and sister both spent time in Israel last season and his father was there the year before.

“This was my second year out there,” he said. “It’s pretty much like a home away from home out there this year so it was pretty cool.”

“Playing overseas was fun,” he added. “I learned a lot, matured off the court and on the court but I’m definitely anxious to try to get back and play in the States.”

In Jeff Schwartz, Landesberg shares the same agent as Nets free agent point guard Deron Williams, who watched the workout Monday.

Landesberg has upcoming workouts with the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs, but wouldn’t mind staying home in New York and playing in Brooklyn.

Even if he is a Queens guy.

“Oh, yeah,” he said, “that would be really, really cool playing in Brooklyn.”

So Bennett is looking forward to the return of 6-foot-8 senior forward Mike Scott, who missed 21 games during the 2010-11 season with an ankle injury and received a medical hardship waiver.

“He was a key player for us, so him coming back, getting his fifth year hopefully will help us,” Bennett told SNY.tv Tuesday during an open gym at St. Benedict’s Prep.

Scott averaged 15.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 33.7 minutes and shot 88.1 percent from the free-throw line in the 10 games in which he played last season. He also became the first Cavalier to post five consecutive double-doubles since Ralph Sampson in 1983.

“He’s been the leading scorer, so he’s an important returner that we weren’t expecting to have,” said Bennett, whose team finished 16-15 last season, 7-9 in the ACC.

“He’s looking pretty good. It’s nice to have him back because we struggled a little bit to score around the lane without him.”

FREE THROWS

Virginia offered St. Benedict’s prep junior point guard Tyler Ennis. Bennett plans to be at St. Anthony Wednesday.

“As always, we’re just trying to identify young kids to build relationships with,” Bennett said, speaking generally because he is not permitted to comment on specific recruits.

“There’s real good coaching around here. That’s what I like. That can save you a year to a half a year when these young men come from programs where the coaches prepare them for college.”

The coaching change at Maryland has cost the Terps another commit.

Rising junior Justin Anderson of Montrose Christian announced he will head to Virginia to play for head coach Tony Bennett instead of remaining committed to Maryland.

Anderson is the third former Maryland commit to change his mind after Mark Turgeon’s hiring, following senior point guard Sterling Gibbs (Texas) and forward Martin Breunig (uncommitted). Senior guard Nick Faust remained committed to the Terps.

“The Cavaliers were always my second choice behind Maryland,” said Anderson, the No. 3 small forward in the Class of 2012 per Rivals. “Also, my family lives in Virginia. After the departure of Coach [Gary] Williams and Coach [Robert] Ehsan it just feels like the right fit.”

During a junior campaign averaging 14 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2 steals, and 2.1 blocks per game, Anderson led his team to victory over six nationally ranked opponents, including a 63-37 rout of pre- season No. 1 Findlay Prep. The Mustangs closed the season by winning the ESPN National High School Invitational championship in a thrilling double-overtime victory against Oak Hill Academy. In the nationally televised game, Anderson hit a 3-point shot with 1.5 seconds left to send the game into double-overtime. He called it “the biggest shot of my life.”

“Justin decided to revisit his options after Gary [Williams] retired,” Montrose Christian coach Stu Vetter said.

“He has been heavily recruited since the 8th grade and it has been an exhausting and distracting process for a teenager. Although Mark Turgeon wanted to begin recruiting him, Justin and his family decided to conclude the process. We look forward to developing a relationship with the new coaching staff at the University of Maryland. We are very pleased that Justin will continue his education and basketball career at the University of Virginia. UVA is a tremendous institution and recent Montrose graduates Tunji Soroye and Doug Browman have had great experiences there as student-athletes.”

Asked if he had a favorite, Gilbert said, “Pitt.”

“He’s intriguing because of his upside,” East Coach Elite coach Terrell Myers said in June. “What people don’t understand is, they see 6-11, they look at him as an offensive player. He’s not an offensive player, he’s a defensive player.

“He can score the ball but I don’t think you’re going to throw it in and get Dwight Howard or Hakeem Olajuwon. That’s not who he is. Maybe you’re looking at more of a Greg Oden-type once he bulks up. He’s definitely similar to him.”

Quinn Cook has been on the road seemingly all summer.

Already he has traveled to Minnesota, California, North Carolina, Texas, Germany, Las Vegas and now Arizona.

“I’m exhausted, but I got a couple games left,” Cook, the No. 5 point guard in the Class of 2011, said Tuesday from the Desert Duel in Gilbert, Az.

Cook and his DC Assault AAU program will finish up in Arizona before playing one more local event in Virginia at the end of the month.

After that he plans to head home to Prince George’s County, Maryland and cut his college list.

That list now includes Arizona, UCLA, Villanova, Duke, Wake Forest, North Carolina State, West Virginia, Rutgers, St. John’s and Georgetown. (Rutgers was left off a list published by an Arizona newspaper.)

“I’ve been traveling so much, I want to get home and rest and work out,” he said. “I haven’t had any real time at home yet because I’ve been traveling so much.”

Cook talked specifically about a couple of schools on his list, pointing out that Duke had attended every game yet.

“They’ve been at every game this summer,” Cook said. “They’re recruiting me heavily. I’m just in the process of forming a relationship with Coach K and go from there.”

Because incoming freshman point guard Kyrie Irving could be one-and-done, Duke may need a point guard to take over in 2011 and has apparently targeting Cook as one option to potentially join Austin Rivers in the backcourt.

“Man, it’s a great honor,” Cook said. “When you think of college basketball you think of Duke. I grew up watching Coach K and Jason Williams and Chris Duhon. To think that I could be that caliber of player as them and to have Coach K, arguably the greatest college coach of all time, recruit you is just an honor.”

Cook said he was also considering Big East locals St. John’s and Rutgers.

“I had a chance to form a relationship with Coach [Steve] Lavin,” he said of St. John’s. “He’s a real cool guy. Hopefully during the season I could watch them and see how he runs the team. I’m definitely interested in them.”

As for Rutgers, Cook has a relationship with associate head coach David Cox.

“Yeah, Coach Cox definitely,” he said. “Coach [Mike] Rice, we’ve talked a couple times. I’m forming a relationship with him, too.”

Cook averaged 20 points, 5.9 assists and 3.3 rebounds as a junior and led DeMatha (32-4) to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship and City title.

Yet he opted to transfer to Oak Hill (Va.) Academy, following in the footsteps of several other Washington-area stars, including Nolan Smith, Kevin Durant, Julian Vaughn, Michael Beasley and Ty Lawson, and former DeMatha players Jeff Allen and Byron Allen.

On the AAU circuit, Cook asked New York native Sidiki Johnson to join the DC Assault in Las Vegas. Johnson, who has committed to Arizona, will also play at Oak Hill next season after spending last year at St. Benedict’s Prep under Dan Hurley.

“He said he wasn’t playing with the MetroHawks and I asked him to come to Vegas and help us win,” Cook said. “Being that we’re going to the same school we’re trying to form a relationship and chemistry together.”

He added: “That’s like my brother. We’re definitely feeling each others’ games now, each others’ tendencies and how I can get him in position to score.”

Even though DC Assault lost in the Elite Eight in Vegas, Cook has already enjoyed a successful summer.

He helped the USA U17 national team win a gold medal in Hamburg, Germany, averaging 7.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 7.4 assists.

“It was the greatest experience ever,” he said. “We went into the camp the first day and we understood we had a goal in our mind. To be over there representing your country was the greatest. To win it is a blessing.

“I was real happy to be granted the opportunity.”

HOFSTRA’S LESTER SUFFERS INJURY

Hofstra senior guard Nathaniel Lester of Brooklyn tore a “muscle in his quad” and “does not need season-ending surgery,” Hofstra coach Mo Cassara said by phone.

“The status is he tore a muscle in his quad and we’re monitoring it,” the coach said. “He does not need any season-ending surgery. He will reevaluate it in a month and at that time we’ll have an idea how long he’ll be out.”

Cassara said the 6-5 Lester tore the muscle while working out on his own.

“He was doing some running on his own, doing some sprints,” Cassara said. “He didn’t think it was anything at first. He’s doing therapy. He will go back in for an MRI. There’s no need for any surgery. He will reevaluate it in a month.”

Lester averaged 8 points and 4.8 rebounds last season.

ANDERSON SHUTTING IT DOWN

St. Anthony guard Kyle Anderson will shut it down for the remainder of the month with tendonitis. Kyle Anderson Sr. said his son was told by a trainer in Las Vegas to rest and Anderson will not play in the Desert Duel event in Arizona. His father said he hoped to return for the adidas nations event in Chicago in August.

A year later, his Washington, D.C.-based team went a perfect 8-0 en route to winning the inaugural Elite Youth Basketball League at the Nike Peach Jam with a 70-62 victory over the St. Louis Eagles.

The game was taped Thursday and shown nationally on ESPNU.

“It’s definitely a good experience being that it’s the first time that they ever had this particular league,” Stevens said. “To be able to accomplish something like this in such a short time was definitely a good experience.”

Junior point guard James Robinson went a perfect 10-of-10 from the line and finished with a team-high 24 points. Duke-bound wing Michael Gbinije added 19 points.

Florida commit Bradley Beal, who returned Monday night from Germany after being named MVP of the U17 world championship, scored a game-high 26 points for the Eagles with Gators coach Billy Donovan watching courtside.

The stock of several Team Takeover players is clearly on the rise.

Stevens said Notre Dame, Georgetown, Oklahoma, Virginia and Maryland are involved with the 6-3 Robinson out of DeMatha High.

“This kid has a chance to be special,” Stevens said. “This is his first year ever playing the point guard spot. He has to keep getting better and if he keeps works working hard he can be special.”

The 6-6 Gbinije was remarkably efficient, going 7-of-15 from the field and 5-of-7 from the line, giving Duke fans a glimpse of what he’ll bring to campus in 2011.

“He’s more than just a shooter,” Stevens said. “His jump shot was not working this weekend so he was really driving and finishing through contact.”

Another player to watch on Team Takeover is 6-9, 210-pound forward Mikael Hopkins of DeMatha, who has offers from Syracuse, Texas, Kansas, West Virginia, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Georgetown and Maryland.

Asked who was working the hardest, Stevens said, “Syracuse right now.”

(Syracuse has one scholarship left for 2011 and hopes to land either Hopkins, Rakeem Christmas or Anthony Davis.)

“[Hopkins] has a chance to be a a pro,” Stevens said.

“If he gets stonger and keeps working, he’ll have the opportunity to play at the highest level.”

Stevens said Hopkins will cut his list to five in August and then take official visits.

All 11 players on Team Takeover hold D-1 offers, Stevens said.

They will be the favorite to repeat next week at the Orlando Super Showcase.

And after winning the Peach Jam, that is the next goal for Team Takeover.

“Oh yeah, definitely,” Stevens said. “We were able to win it at the 16s and 17s [last year]. That’s been a goal, to try to win both of them again.”

The 6-foot-9 senior, 225-pound who will spend his final year at South Kent (Conn.) after competing at Paterson (N.J.) Catholic says Rutgers leads his list right now.

“I like Rutgers a lot,” Randall, a Brooklyn native, said at the Peach Jam after the Playaz beat California Supreme, 80-49, behind Kyle Anderson’s 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists, Myles Mack’s 16 points, Desmond Hubert’s 12 and Randall’s 7 points and 7 boards .

“I’m probably going to be making my decision in August deciding where I’m going to be committing to and then sign in the [fall].”

Randall is also considering Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh (if they offer), Marquette, St. John’s and Seton Hall, but Rutgers clearly has the edge.

“Yeah, I like the coach [Mike Rice] a lot. I like the coaching staff and it’s a real nice facility. I’ve been on the campus before,” he said.

“They said they are going to work me out to my highest potential and make me the best player I can be.”

Brian Randall, Derrick’s father who works for the MTA in New York, also enjoyed the recent Rutgers unofficial visit.

“He likes the campus. He likes all the majors you can take,” Derrick said. “I like computers, so they have a computer technology [major], so he likes it a lot.”

Randall also looks forward to playing in the ultra-competitive Big East.

“It’s one of the best conferences, tough completion,” Randall said.

Randall will prep next year at South Kent alongside fellow forwards Kadeem Jack and Maurice Harkless.

“[I want to] try to get a championship,” he said. “Work on my post moves and my dribbling and my shooting and hit the weight room.”

HUBERT NARROWING LIST

Desmond Hubert, Randall’s 6-9 Playaz teammate, is also narrowing his list.

Hubert listed Pittsburgh, Villanova, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Georgetown, Georgia Tech and Maryland.

“I’m starting to come to more of a decision on what schools are going to be on my list and what schools aren’t going to be,” Hubert said.

Still, as first reported by ZAGSBLOG, Pitt and Villanova are at the top.

“I feel really comfortable with those two schools, with the coaching staff, especially at Pitt and Villanova,” Hubert said.

Hubert and Playaz teammate Myles Davis may also choose a school together. Both have interest in Davis as well.

“Me and him have also talked about going to school together and those are two of the schools that are recruiting us,” Hubert said.

While Randall may decide in August, Hubert plans to take his visits first.

“I’m going to wait a little bit longer probably because I definitely want to take my official visits,” he said.

UCLA LOOKING AT MACK

Up until now, Myles Mack has been getting looks mostly from Big East and Atlantic 10 schools, but now UCLA may be entering the picture for the 5-9 point guard from Paterson (N.J.).

“UCLA hasn’t offered yet,” Mack said, adding that they had expressed interest.

Miami, St. John’s, Rutgers, Fordham, Marquette, Virginia, and Providence are also on Mack’s list.

“I don’t have any favorites,” he said.

Mack and Playaz teammate Kyle Anderson will play for Bob Hurley at St. Anthony because PC is closing.

“I’m looking forward to it,” he said. “Trying to make it an undefeated season for my last year. It’s our first year there, we want to play as hard as we can for Coach Hurley.”

LAVIN ON THE MOVE

St. John’s coach Steve Lavin is on the West Coast recruiting Norvel Pelle, Jahi Carson, Amir Garrett and Cezar Guerrero at the Pangos All West Camp.

As reported earlier on SNY.tv, Lavin has 10 scholarships to fill for 2011.

What is the significance of June 15th to coaches, players and the class of 2012 as a whole?

It was the first day when the NCAA permits college coaches to officially recruit prospects. On this day, college coaches can make their first contact with members of the class of 2012 for the first time whether it’s to talk with them or even offer them. A number of top prospects in the class of 2012 and even one big name in the class of 2013 picked up offers Tuesday.

*North Carolina coach Roy Williams and company stayed up late to offer two of the best in the class of 2012. 6-foot-5 Shabazz Muhammad (pictured) and 6-foot-5 J.P. Tokoto were both offered by the Tar Heels.

*6-foot-10 Daniel Ochefu ’12 picked up his sixth offer, from Georgetown. Despite not visiting the campus yet, Ochefu previously stated to ZAGSBLOG contributor Alex Kline that he “likes Georgetown and Kentucky a lot,” but was not sure if they would offer this summer. The rising junior, who just had a big weekend at the Nike Hoop Jamboree in St. Louis, plans to “make a list of schools in two weeks.”

*While Michigan State was awaiting the word of whether Tom Izzo would return to the school, their in-state rivals, Michigan, pulled out a few offers. The Wolverines offered 6-foot-4 shooting guard Gary Harris, who took an unofficial visit to campus two weeks ago. 5-foot-10 point guard Kevin Ferrell was also offered by Michigan, as well as Billy Donovan and Florida.

*Philadelphia native Savon Goodman ’12 had a good day to say the least. The sophomore picked up five new offers from Texas, Villanova, Penn State and Pittsburgh today. Goodman, who is a consencous top 25 player in his class, is high school teammates with Rakeem Christmas and Malcolm Gilbert at the Academy of the New Church.

*2012 guard Ryan Arcidiacono of Pa Playaz picked up offers Tuesday night from Seton Hall, Tulane, Penn State and Temple. Here’s my recent feature on him.

*The Baylor Bears gave out offers like hotcakes today. The coaching staff offered Tyler Lewis ‘12 of Forsyth Country Day, Isaiah Lewis ’13 of Christ the King and Isaiah Austin ’12 of Grace Prep. The offer to Lewis was unexpected and his first. Austin, a top ten in his class, was also offered by Kentucky, Georgetown, Iowa, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arizona and Houston.

*6-foot-9 Khem Birch, who recently transferred to Notre Dame Prep, picked up three more offers today. Birch, who left Winchendon about a month ago, picked up offers from West Virginia, Ohio State and Pittsburgh. Wondering what the connection between Birch and Pitt is? Former Providence assistant Pat Skerry now has a job with the Panthers. Birch thinks very highly of coach Skerry. Could Khem Birch be bound for the Steel City?

*2013 stud Rodney Purvis attended Wake Forest Elite camp and Chris Paul Point Guard camp last weekend. Purvis was paired on the same team as DeMatha’s Quinn Cook, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry and New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul. The Deamon Deacons offered the 6-foot-3 Purvis later.

Rumble in the Bronx Notes

*Boys & Girls’ guard Mike Taylor ’11 says he will take an unofficial visit to Rutgers once he gets out of school in two weeks.

*Thomas Jefferson’s Davontay Grace ’11 wore a bright orange Syracuse sweatshirt to the Rumble on Saturday. Grace said the ‘Cuse were not his favorite but they were showing some interest in him.

*St. Benedict’s rising senior Blaise Mborgarba told Jeff Borzello of the NBE Report that he was leaning towards Virginia Tech due to their engineering program.

*Incoming Lincoln freshman Isaiah Whitehead noted that his dream school is Kentucky. Whitehead likes Kentucky because of head coach John Calipari, as well as the school’s history.

*Notre Dame Prep wing Angel Nunez ’11 plans on taking unofficial visits to Miami and West Virginia sometime in July.

*Rice forward Jermaine Sanders will visit Villanova Friday and Rutgers “probably next week,” according to Kimani Young of New Heights.

**Lincoln guard Shaq Stokes and forward Kamari Murphy ’11 will take an unofficial visit to Rutgers sometime this week. Gil St. Bernards’ guard Jaren Sina ’13 took an unofficial to the school Tuesday.

**Rutgers offered 2012 product Nkereuwem Okoro ’12 from St. Raymond’s today.

*Soon to be St. Anthony’s point guard Myles Mack says he hopes to take an unofficial visit to UCLA in August. He will attend Marquette Elite camp during that time, as well. Mack commented on that he wants to have an undefeated season and win a national title next year at St. Anthony.

**St. Anthony 2012 guard Kyle Anderson visits Villanova today (Wednesday) before leaving Friday for USA U18 trials in San Antonio.

**6-foot PG Jaylen Beckham of Lexington (Ky.) Catholic High School will suit up for Roshown McLeod at St. Benedict’s, per Jay Gomes of NJHoops.com.

After a couple of days at the Rumble in the Bronx at Fordham University, this much is clear: there is a lot of movement on the prep scene.

**Vaughn Gray, a 6-foot-5 off guard, is transferring to Newark (N.J.) St. Benedict’s Prep from Don Bosco Prep and will play for first-year coach Roshown McLeod.

“Yes, he’s going to St. Benedict’s,” said June Gray, his mother. “It was pretty much Vaughn’s decision. We wanted him to have more development and play more on a national level.”

Gray holds offers from Providence, Delaware, Drexel, George Mason and UNC-Charlotte.

“Vaughn brings energy and athleticism to the wing position for us,” McLeod said. “His ability to guard multiple positions on the floor with toughness will be vital to our team. He will also add senior leadership to what will be a young and talented team.”

St. Ben’s lost Myck Kabongo (Findlay Prep) and Sidiki Johnson (Oak Hill), but McLeod figures to bring in a few more transfers. The Gray Bees finished 20-1 last season under former coach Dan Hurley.

**Myles Davis, a 6-1 rising senior combo guard, may transfer back to his hometown Plainfield High from St. Peter’s Prep to play with fellow rising senior Tyrone Johnson, sources said.

The 6-3 Johnson — who is being courted by a number of schools, including Georgetown and Villanova — is also considering going to Montrose Christian, he told Gannett New Jersey.

“Right now it’s still undecided,” Johnson said. “I was leaning toward transferring but now I want to wait and see how things are going to come along.”

Added Davis: “He talked about going to Montrose and how that was practically done.”

Davis will trip to Virginia next week unofficially and is planning on tripping to Villanova June 17-18 “just to go check it out.”

Davis has a top seven of Villanova, UConn, Georgetown, Pittsburgh, St. Joe’s, George Mason and Virginia.

“I’m liking everybody,” he said.

**Former Seton Hall commit Dashaun Wiggins said he has yet to decide where he will play next season but is considering staying at Bridgton (Maine) Academy or attending Newark (N.J.) NIA Prep or Notre Dame Prep.

“I’m not really sure,” said Wiggins, a Bronx native.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Wiggins verbally committed to Seton Hall when Bobby Gonzalez was head coach but does not appear to be on Seton Hall’s radar now that Kevin Willard is head coach.

“I never heard from them,” he said, “so obviously I’m not going there.”

He added: “It’s not frustrating. It’s a business.”

**New Jersey and New York have already seen a slew of high-profile transfers. Former Paterson Catholic guards Myles Mack and Kyle Anderson are headed to St. Anthony….Former PC guard Jayon James still plans to prep a year at Brewster (N.H.) Academy…South Kent is getting Derrick Randall (Paterson Catholic), Kadeem Jack (Rice), Maurice Harkless (Forest Hills) and Ricardo Ledo (St. Andrews)…St. Anthony guard Elijah Carter plans to attend either South Kent or Winchendon…2011 Fordham commits Jeff Short (Bronx Kennedy) and Devon McMillan (Uniondale) may also prep next year.
