Chase Jeter is set to visit Duke March 8 for the North Carolina game and his AAU coach says Duke “loves” the 6-foot-10 Las Vegas Bishop Gorman big man.
“Of course, Duke loves Chase,” Clay Williams of Dream Vision told SNY.tv. “Duke really likes Chase Jeter.”
He added: “Chase is a 3.85 student so Chase is a very academic-oriented. His mother is a teacher, his dad works for the Sheriff’s department. He has great structure and Chase is humble so I’m sure academics really matter to Chase as well. He’s a well-spoken kid.
“A lot of people see Chase as quote-unquote a ‘Duke kid.’ That’s what they say. I don’t know what exactly that is, but whatever it is he looks like one.”
Duke is Jeter’s only planned visit right now, but Williams said Arizona, Kansas, UCLA and North Carolina were all “coming at him hard.”
Meantime, North Carolina head coach Roy Williams has established a strong bond with Jeter’s AAU teammate, Stephen Zimmerman, meaning it’s possible they could wind up on opposite ends of Tobacco Road
Still, Williams also says it’s possible both could wind up at the same college.
