Lori Stevens, the mother of 7-footer Stephen Zimmerman, says all five schools on her son’s list are still in the mix.

“There are five schools, no favorite,” she told SNY.tv by text in comments she echoed on Twitter. “If you are hearing anything different it’s someone speculating.”

Zimmerman is down to Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, Arizona and UNLV, having taken his final official visit to UNLV last week.

North Carolina, Indiana and Notre Dame are no longer in the mix.

Stevens said Zimmerman expects to decide by February or March.

Ivan Rabb, Zimmerman’s Oakland Soldiers teammate, recently told ESPN’s Jeff Goodman that Cal was in the top three of his final five.
