  • Marvin Clark Liked Indiana; Will Announce Next Week (UPDATED)

Marvin Clark enjoyed his visit to Indiana Wednesday but will not announce his college choice until sometime next week.

His Bel Aire (KS) Sunrise Christian teammate, 7-footer Dusan Ristic, is expected to announce Saturday for Arizona, but Clark told SNY.tv he won’t announce until next week — possibly Wednesday.

“Deciding sometime next week,” he said by text.

Clark, a  6-foot-6 post-graduate small forward, visited Indiana Wednesday for the Nebraska game after visiting Michigan State this past weekend.

“It was good,” he said of Indiana. “I just liked the opportunity there to start early as a freshman. They want to use me all around the floor, 2, 3 and some 4 early on.”

He is also considering Iowa State, Kansas State, Seton Hall and Ole Miss.

He was originally going to visit Indiana this past weekend but called an audible and went to MSU instead. He said he enjoyed the MSU visit and could imagine himself there.

“I fit in well in their system,” he said.

Wherever Clark goes, Sunrise Christian coach Kyle Lindsted says he can be a major factor.

“He’s a shooter, he’s a big-time shooter, scorer,” he said. “He’s had 30 on several of the Kansas JUCOs as we play them. He had 30 on Hutchinson [Community College] in one 20-minute scrimmage, so he’s capable of big numbers.”
