Devin Robinson, a 6-foot-8, 175-pound forward from Christchurch (Va.) School, has cancelled his UConn visit, his high school coach confirmed to SNY.tv.
The news was previously reported by the Hartford Courant.
Robinson is also considering Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Indiana and Florida, with a visit to Florida set for this weekend.
He visited Indiana officially this past weekend and he remains a top target in the frontcourt for the Hoosiers.
UConn has landed power forward Rakim Lubin, as well as guards Sam Cassell and Daniel Hamilton to go along with N.C. State transfer Rodney Purvis.
Said New York recruiting expert Tom Konchalski of Robinson: ”He’s terrific. “He just needs to get stronger, that’s all he needs to do
“He’s a very good all-court player. He’s a running forward who changes ends, gets out on the break. An athletic system is the best for him, obviously. He just needs to get stronger.”
