JaQuan Lyle is headed on a visit to Ohio State on Wednesday.

Ohio State head coach Thad Matta recently watched the 6-foot-5 Lyle play and came away impressed.
“Thad said that he could be special,” IMG Academy coach John Mahoney told SNY.tv.
With Ohio State guard D’Angelo Russell now projected as a top-5 pick in the NBA Draft, Lyle could come in and get immediate playing time with the Buckeyes. He’s averaging 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2.5 steals at IMG.
“He has the potential to be special,” Mahoney said. “He is learning how to work hard every day and what it takes to be very good. He has been working on his shot which has improved.”
Lyle was previously committed to both Louisville and Oregon.
He is considering several schools, including Oregon, LSU and others.
