Keith Thomas, a 6-foot-8 forward from Westchester (N.Y.) Community College, will cut his list to three schools on Wednesday and is expected to choose over the weekend from among Miami, South Florida and St. John’s.
“We’re going to cut the list to three on Wednesday,” WCC coach Tyrone Mushatt told SNY.tv Monday morning.
Thomas visited St. John’s and SouthFlorida and heads to Miami on Thursday. He is expected to decide over the weekend “when he comes back from Miami,” Mushatt said.
St. John’s is looking to add frontcourt depth to augment Chris Obekpa and incoming recruit Adonis Delarosa, while new USF coach Orlando Antigua is looking to put his stamp on the program with his own players.
“Me and him talked this morning,” Mushatt said of Thomas. “The visit [to USF] was OK.”
