Jahlil Okafor, Tyus Jones and Cliff Alexander will all announce their college choices on Friday afternoon.
ESPNU has a Signing Day Special from 4-5 EST.
“I’m excited to announce my college decision on Friday Nov 15th, 3pm at Whitney Young high school. Be there and thanks for all the support!,” the 6-foot-10 Okafor Tweeted Monday night.
“I’m excited to announce my college decision on Friday Nov 15th, 3pm at Apple Valley High school. Be there and thanks for all the support!” the 6-2 Jones Tweeted at about the same time.
Okafor and Jones have long said they will play college basketball together — and they are expected to pick either Duke or Kansas.
Baylor is also in the mix for both, while Okafor also visited Arizona and Kentucky and Jones also lists Minnesota.
“He made up his mind,” Chuck Okafor, Jahlil’s father, told the Chicago Tribune. “He is confident in his choice.”
The 6-9 Alexander had already announced his plans to announce on Friday at Chicago Curie High School.
His mother told SNY.tv Monday that he will not cut his list and will choose from among DePaul, Illinois, Kansas and Memphis.
So at this point it is at least theoretically possible that Kansas could strike gold and land all three players on Friday.
