Ernest Aflakpui, a 6-foot-10 power forward from Radnor (PA) Archbishop Carroll, begins a stretch of four official visits today when he trips to St. Joe’s.

A rebounder/defender who is still polishing his offensive game, Aflakpui will be at St. Joe’s through Friday. He then trips to Temple Sept. 5-7, VCU Sept. 19-21 and Rhode Island Sept. 26-28.

“Ernest has unlimited potential as evidenced by his improvement his first two years here in the states,” Carroll coach Paul Romanczuk told SNY.tv. “His work ethic and willingness to learn are second to none. He is a wonderful young man with a very bright future.”

Romanczuk said Aflkapui has “no real timetable” on a decision but it will likely occur “not long after those four visits.”
