Findlay Prep shooting guard Rashad Vaughn will announce his college choice on Tuesday between 6-7 p.m. EST on CBS College Sports Network.
The 6-foot-5 Vaughn is considering UNLV, Kentucky, Iowa St, and North Carolina, but is widely expected to choose either UNLV or Iowa State.
Asked if he was still in the process of deciding, Vaughn said, “Yes.”
He was supposed to visit North Carolina Feb. 15, but won’t take it because he’s already been there.
“I have already been there on a visit and my family and the UNC staff have a close relationship,” he said.
The No. 7 prospect in the Class of 2014 according to Rivals, he has already visited Iowa State and UNLV, with both of those going well.
Vaughn seemed particularly impressed with the Iowa State visit in November.
His visit to UNLV that month also went well, and he is also close with UNLV pledge Dwayne Morgan, the Baltimore St. Frances forward who is actively recruiting Vaughn to the Vegas school.
Once Vaughn comes off the board, Euless (TX) Trinity big man Myles Turner and Huntington (W.V.) Prep guard JaQuan Lyle will be the top remaining uncommitted players.
