Aaron Holiday, a 6-foot-1 junior point guard from Hollywood (CA) North Campbell, committed to UCLA on Monday, sources confirmed to SNY.tv.

Holiday is the younger brother of former UCLA and current New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday.

According to the L.A. Times, Holiday averaged more than 30 points a game this season and has gone for 36, 39 and 42 points in his last three playoff games.

Head coach Steve Alford has made dramatic recruiting strides since taking over. His 2014 class includes bigs Jonah Bolden, Thomas Welsh, Kevon Looney and Gyorgy Goloman.

UCLA also has a pledge from 2016 point guard Lonzo Ball of Chino Hills, CA.
