Adam Zagoria is a Basketball Insider who covers basketball at all levels. A contributor to The New York Times and SportsNet New York (SNY), he is also the author of two books and is an award-winning journalist and filmmaker. His articles have appeared in ESPN The Magazine, SLAM, Sheridan Hoops, Basketball Times and in newspapers nationwide. NEW YORK (NBA.com exclusive) — With about five minutes left in the Nets’ 113-93 victory Saturday over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, a fan wearing a No. 6 LeBron James Knicks’ jersey stood up and made a boisterous announcement to the fans behind him.
“We want LeBron. Let’s go. We want LeBron,” he shouted.
After this latest performance by the Knicks, landing James via free agency this summer is about all their fans have to look forward to.
