  • Pernetti to Evaluate Fred Hill

    In the wake of Rutgers’ season-ending loss to Cincinnati Tuesday in the Big East tournament,the future of head coach Fred Hill hangs in the balance.

    Tim Pernetti, the first-year Rutgers athletic director, said Wednesday he plans to evaluate Hill’s status going forward.

    “As I do with all of our head coaches, Fred and I will sit down to discuss the season and our program in the near future,” Pernetti said in a statement sent by email.
