Georgia Tech coach Paul Hewitt will interview Wednesday for the St. John’s coaching vacancy, according to a report on the New York Post’s Website.
As reported earlier Tuesday by SNY.tv, Georgia Tech granted St. John’s officials permission to speak with Hewitt about its coaching vacancy.
“They’ve asked for permission and permission has been granted,” said Georgia Tech spokesman Mike Stamus.

UPDATE: St. John’s AD Chris Monasch interviewed Hewitt Tuesday night in Atlanta, according to the New York Post. Monasch stopped in Atlanta on his return from the women’s NCAA tournament in Tallahassee, Fla.,
