  • Sellers Endorses Jordan at Rutgers

    Former 76ers coach Eddie Jordan will reportedly interview this week at Rutgers, and he may have no bigger supporter than Rutgers legend Phil Sellers.

    Together, Jordan and Sellers led Rutgers to the 1976 Final Four, the high point in the history of a program that hasn’t been to the NCAA tournament since 1991. Sellers remains the all-time leading scorer and rebounder in program history.

    “I think it would be a good fit for Eddie now that Rutgers is looking for someone to fill that position,” Sellers, 56, said in a telephone interview.
