    EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – There is just a week to go before the NBA Draft and things are getting serious for the Nets.

    With new coach Avery Johnson watching workouts, the team with the No. 3 pick in the draft is looking at some heavy hitters over these last few days.

    Syracuse small forward Wesley Johnson worked out Thursday and on Monday Georgia Tech power forward Derrick Favors and Kentucky center DeMarcus Cousins are due in. The Nets are likely to pick from among that group, with several team sources already having said that Favors is the favorite.
