PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Tom Savage and Mohamed Sanu play catch every day, often go out to eat with one another and even saw “Toy Story 3” together.
The duo hopes that off-the-field time together will pay off on the football field when Rutgers’ camp officially begins next month. The Scarlet Knights open the season Sept. 2 against Norfolk State.
“I know it’s tough to say that going out and getting food together is going to help out on the football field, but it helps us bond and helps us be able to communicate a little bit better out on the field,” Savage said Thursday at the Hale Center.
