  • Corey Fisher didn’t set out to score 105 points last Saturday night.

    It just happened.

“I was just feeling it,” Fisher said in a phone interview from Villanova. “My teammates got me the ball and it was just a good game.”

The rising senior point guard from The Bronx drained 23-of-28 3-pointers and scored 72 points in the second half in the Watson Classic in The Bronx. Fisher said his previous career high was the 71 points he once dropped in an IS8 game.

Fisher played with the Dyckman team in the Watson Classic and said he “didn’t know the guys” on his team.

GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Chauncey Billups may have some insight on what Carmelo Anthony plans to do next season, but he isn’t giving it up.

“Yeah, of course, but I’m not going to let y’all know,” Billups told the media after Team USA practice Friday at the Knicks’ training facility.

“It’s between me and my guy. If y’all have a close personal friend and they’re going through something and the media asks, you’re not going to expose that. That’s what a relationship is all about. When I speak to him, it’s between me and him. Y’all find out when he wants y’all to know.”

Anthony has hinted that he may want to join Amar’e Stoudemire with the Knicks when he becomes a free agent in 2011, but he could also opt to sign a three-year, $65-million extension with the Denver Nuggets.

St. Thomas More coach Jere Quinn said he doesn’t think 6-foot-11, 265-pound rising junior Andre Drummond will graduate in 2011.

“I think he’s leaving St. Thomas More in 2012,” Quinn said Thursday. “I believe he’s gonna be here two more years. That’s what the mom wants.”

Quinn plans to speak with Drummond’s mother, Christine Cameron, on Saturday to discuss her son’s options. Leaving the school in 2011 would be one option, but Quinn doubts it will happen.

“This is the mom’s decision,” he said. Nothing has changed in our mindset.”
