Good news, tennis fans.
Anna Kournikova is returning to the U.S. Open.
The Russian bombshell will play an exhibition match Thursday night with partner Martina Hingis against former Grand Slam champions Pat Cash and Mats Wilander.
That match will be followed by top seed Rafael Nadal against Fernando Verdasco in the last men’s quarterfinal.
Kournikova retired from the WTA Tour in 2003 but still plays exhibitions and World Team Tennis.
Hingis won seven Grand Slam singles titles before retiring.
