    GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Amar’e Stoudemire, like every other NBA fan worth his or her salt, planned to settle in to his Toronto hotel room Tuesday and watch the Miami Heat-Boston Celtics game on the opening night of the 2010-11 NBA season.

    “That’s going to be fun to watch,” Stoudemire said Tuesday after Knicks’ practice. “The NBA’s back on top. It’s probably the most exciting season ever. So watching Miami-Boston [Tuesday], and then you got Knicks-Toronto the next night, basketball is back where it belongs.”
