Adam Zagoria is a Basketball Insider who covers basketball at all levels. A contributor to The New York Times and SportsNet New York (SNY), he is also the author of two books and is an award-winning journalist and filmmaker. His articles have appeared in ESPN The Magazine, SLAM, Sheridan Hoops, Basketball Times and in newspapers nationwide. NEW YORK — Knicks president Donnie Walsh says his impending hip replacement surgery won’t prevent him from doing his job.
“No. I’ve got a brain, I’ve got a telephone,” Walsh said before the Rockets beat the Knicks, 104-96, Sunday at MSG. “When I was operated on last summer, I got out of the hospital and was in the Draft the next day and I’ve gone from that point to this point.”
