    Tough break for Pittsburgh.

Junior guard Tray Woodall will miss the next month due to a groin strain and abdominal tear suffered in Thursday night’s win over Duquesne. Doctors expect the former St. Anthony star to return to the court following four-to-five weeks of rest.

“We anticipate that Tray will make a full recovery and join his teammates on the court soon,” Pitt coach Jamie Dixon said.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Brooklyn-Paterson, N.J. native was having a stellar year, averaging 14.1 points, a team-leading 8.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds. In seven games he has totaled four double-doubles on the year (points-assists) and reached double figure scoring in five contests.

No. 17 Pitt (6-1) plays at Tennessee on Saturday as part of the Big East-SEC Challenge.  Pitt will also be in New York Dec. 10 to face Oklahoma State at MSG.
