Jeremy Lin will now have one less thing to do during All-Star Weekend.

Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert has pulled out of the Slam Dunk contest due to left patella tendinitis and will be replaced by Utah Jazz forward Jeremy Evans.

Lin was planning on assisting Shumpert in the Dunk contest.

Lin will also participate in the Rising Stars Challenge Friday in Orlando.

Shumpert sat out the Knicks loss to the Nets Monday night and is expected to miss tonight’s game against Atlanta.
