Seton Hall’s Pope a Game-time Decision vs. UConn
The last time Seton Hall played UConn, Huskies freshman Andre Drummond made news by asking reporters, “Who’s Herb Pope?”
Drummond honestly did not know who the Seton Hall senior power forward was.
Pope outplayed Drummond in that game, but now it looks like Drummond may not get a chance at the rematch because Pope is a “game-time decision” for Saturday’s game with bruised ribs suffered in Tuesday’s loss at Marquette.
“Right now Herb is sitting out because when he dove on the floor he really landed on two ribs, bruised them and it actually swolled up a little bit,” Pirates coach Kevin Willard said Thursday.
